We are pleased to announce the launch of the
Oregon Chapter of the Product Development and
Management Association (PDMA). Oregon PDMA is the
newest chapter of the PDMA, an international organization with
23 chapters and over 2500 members. Oregon PDMA provides new networking and
skill-advancing opportunities for professionals in
product management, marketing, and other product
development functions across multiple industries.
Planning Innovations Group is proud to be a founding
sponsor and has been active in forming and launching
the new Chapter.
Oregon PDMA held an inaugural event on June
30th at Planar Systems with over 80
attendees. The evening featured two programs focused
on Celebrating
New Product Success. Sohrab Vossoughi, President
and Founder of ZIBA Design presented
"Innovation in the Afternoon", an
outstanding introduction to Experience Innovation
including some of the methods Ziba uses with clients
that lead
them to be one of the world’s top product
development consulting firms. A panel discussion
followed with leading Oregon
product developers from Nike, Tazo, Unicru, and
Cascade Microtech who provided insights into their
Challenges to New Product Success.
